Webinars

The VDDS offers a series of recorded webinars on mental health issues affecting people with an
intellectual disability or autism spectrum disorder. These training webinars are designed for mental
health and disability professionals; however, are open to all. Some prior knowledge may be helpful.

Workshops

We facilitate regular workshops for healthcare professionals working in Victorian Area Mental Health Services. These interactive in person and online workshops dive deep into key topics.

People with intellectual disability experience high rates of mental illness yet often have difficulty in accessing services and getting appropriate treatment. This workshop will explore the reasons for this and cover some of the modifications to practice that can be made to account for this.

Training for your service
